Ombre Red-Orange Lip

Fresh,” “sporty,” and “young” were just a few of the words makeup artist, Yadim used to describe this beauty look he designed. The highlight of it: a very bright orange-red lip with a quick dab of of orange pigment in the center of the mouth.

Tangerine Eye Gloss

It was all about sun kissed skin and smudgy eyes instead of bronzer, for tawny glow. On eyes, use black kohl liner in the waterline, along the lash line, then mess it all up with Q-tips and orange eye gloss (yes, orange!) for a softer, lived-in vibe. Finish with a little mascara at the roots of lashes, lip balm, and you’re done.

Elegant Shimmer

Try this for a sophisticated take on metallic eye makeup: applied taupe shadow first then blended a creamy gold pencil—Aveda Peta Essence Eye Definer in Gypsum Gold on the lids for a shimmering effect. Finish with sheer red gloss on lips for added polish.

Watercolor Eyes

We can’t get enough of this extra-colorful pastel eye look, a mix of shimmery lavender, aqua, chartreuse, and gold shadows.

Two-Tone Lip

You don’t need to experiment with crazy shades like blue and teal greento make a lip statement. This two-tone lipstick, which makeup artist Sammy Mourabit created at Cushnie et Ochs, does the trick instead. Apply a matte red color on your upper lip and a hot pink shade on the bottom lip.

Glossy Back Eyes

Copy the very cool “urban beach girl” vibe by a gloss, over your favorite black kohl liner. The slick texture gives smudgy shadow an edge.

Au Natural

How to make everyday makeup look gorgeous? It’s all in the details, a creamy matte skin, a bit of mauve lipstick blended with a brush on the cheeks and bridge of nose, a soft veil of taupe shadow on lids, and , a pinky-nude matte liquid lipstick, dabbed onto lips as a stain.

Pink All Over

"Draping" (wearing your blush high up on the corners of your cheeks and to the sides of your eyes) is the new "contouring." But if this monochromatic petal pink look feels a little too intense, tip-toe in on the trend by trying one element of it at a time—either high pink cheekbones or a soft wash in the center of your eyelids.
